"Down Under" Original Painting

"Down Under" Original Painting by Tim Wistrom

Seattle + surrealism = Tim Wistrom.

"Down Under" is an under water view of the playground of an Orca whale. Among the sea kelp we see a parking meter and the Space Needle - both reoccurring icons in Tim's work.

This is another of Tim's paintings that contemplate thoughts of global change; the earth has always been in constant change, and in the distant future perhaps the buildings we are creating will become monuments of a time gone by. Man continues to inhabit the earth but in a very different way.

This original acrylic painting is 24" x 30" on a gallery wrap canvas. Tim likes this style canvas because it gives a nice clean finish and requires no frame. You could always add a frame of your choice, but this is unframed.
